Self-Assessment

During my internship at Amazon Web Services (AWS) Vietnam from March 9, 2026 to May 2, 2026, I have had the opportunity to learn, practice, and apply the knowledge equipped at university into a real-world working environment.

I participated in building the “Log Management System” project based on Serverless architecture, through which I improved my skills in Python programming for AWS Lambda, data management on DynamoDB/S3, Cloud infrastructure security, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

In terms of professionalism, I always strive to complete tasks well, comply with internal regulations, and actively communicate with colleagues to enhance work efficiency.

To objectively reflect on the internship process, I would like to evaluate myself based on the following criteria:

Areas for Improvement

  • Presentation and Documentation Optimization Skills: I need to practice expressing complex technical issues (such as Serverless architecture) in a more visual and scannable way within progress reports using Markdown/Hugo.
  • System Security Depth: Although I have mastered the basics of IAM, I need to delve deeper into practical security scenarios for Identity Center and Cognito to comprehensively protect production-scale applications.
  • Time Management and Work Prioritization: I need to learn how to allocate time more effectively when handling multiple Bootcamp training labs concurrently with developing new features for the group project.
